| This is a "studio shot" that appeared in several mid-70's era brochures for an entertainment equipment distributor. The idea was to make a relatively mundane record player seem "vital", "exciting" and "necessary". Using a slow shutter speed and small colored lights, I was able to impart the "discotheque" feel of "bright lights", "big city" and "continuous movement". This is a 640x480 view from a 3000x2100 scan of the original Ektachrome slide. Shot in 1976, scanned in January 1998, and saved in 50:1 JPEG compression. | |
