| The Golden Gate if often obscured by fog in the evening. Hints of it are visible in this photo, near the center of the inlet, near the bridge, On the rare ocassion when you can catch a good sky, and just the right combination of lighting, you can get a great photograph. This shot, from high in Golden Gate Park, shows the Golden Gate Bridge and, in the distance, downtown San Francisco and the Oakland Bridge. The errie lighting on the hillside resulted from the golden afterglow of sunset reflected off heavy fog, just out of frame, to the right. |
